Rally in the Gorge T Shirt Design Contest Guidelines
 Each
year through 2008 we’ve designed our rally t shirts in house. Last
year we ended up not doing any. We need some fresh ideas and you
need four tickets to this year’s rally. Follow the guidelines below,
turn in your design by March 30th and you may be taking yourself and
three of your closest friends to this summer’s event! Of course
you’ll be getting four t-shirts to go along with that! That’s a $500
value so get to work.
1. The shirt needs to incorporate “Rally in the Gorge” as the
main text.
2.Understand that Rally in the Gorge encompasses four sub rallies
– Sportbike Northwest, Sport Touring Northwest, Dual Sport Northwest
and Maxi Scoot Northwest. If you design your shirt with just one of
those types of bikes on it why would anyone else want to buy one?
You might even come up with a graphic that includes no bikes at all?
You don’t need to incorporate the sub rally names into the shirt.
3. The Gorge is a National Scenic Area. It’s filled with stunning
beauty. Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Vista House, the Rowena Curves and the
Stonehenge Replica are all icons of the area, so feel free to
incorporate one of more of them into your graphic.
4. Working space is 11”x17” maximum and you may design within a
portrait, or landscape format.
5. You’re limited to three colors on the back and one color on
the front, or visa versa.
6. We usually use the Sound RIDER! logo on the front pocket. It
needs to be included somewhere on the shirt. It’s created using the
impact font.
7. Send your final design in PDF Format to tom@soundrider.com no
later than March 30th. Be sure to include your recommended shirt
color as well.
