Rally
in the Gorge 2012 T Shirt Design Contest
In 2012 we'll be holding the 10th annual Rally in the Gorge. The
rally reflects four smaller events all going on simultaneously. They
are:
- Sportbike Northwest
- Sport Touring Northwest
- Dualsport Northwest
- Maxi Scoot Northwest
To celebrate the 10th year, we'll be giving each rally attendee
that signs up by June 1st a free rally T-shirt. We'll also have
limited stock on hand for purchase for those who miss out on the
advance free-bie.
We know it's the attendees who know the event best and there are
some creative thinkers and designers among you. If that's you then
read on.
We want to give you a chance to design the 2012 rally T and if
your design is used you will receive 4 free admissions to take you
and several of your friends to this years Rally in the Gorge. The
value on these registrations is in excess of $500!
Below are the guidelines for the design. We looking forward to
seeing what you have.
- The design needs to incorporate the four rally elements
mentioned above. Sportbike, Sport Touring, Dual Sport and Maxi
Scooter.
- This years design needs to celebrate the 10th year so it
should incorporate something that does that in the way of text
or through symbolism.
- you may also incorporate some of the scenic visuals found in
the Gorge such as Stonehenge, Vista House, Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams
or otherwise.
- Shirts will be printed on black cotton. You may use up to
three colors in your design and no gradients are allowed.
- Please submit your design as a low resolution PDF via email
to
rally@soundrider.com.
- If your design is accepted, the rally team may call out one
or several design changes to make it final.
- If your design is accepted we will require a high resolution
PDF of the design.
- If your design is accepted we may also incorporate it into
the front cover of the rally program in black and white, so it
should look good in half tone.
- The winner will be announced June 1st 2012. If you are the
winner and have already purchased rally admissions, we will
refund you the entire amount up to four person worth.
