2018 Highlights

Check back often for more additions as they become available.

The Historic Maryhill Loops Road

Saturday afternoon, come ride a piece of history, the very first paved road ever built in America west of the Mississippi, and the model for future roads to come.

Directions to the Maryhill Road: Are you planning to ride the Maryhill Loops Road Saturday afternoon (or registered for the clinic in the morning)? Take SR14 east to US97. Continue east on SR14 1.4 miles past the Stonehenge Replica/Veterans War memorial. The road will appear on your LEFT shortly after. Turn left and ride up to the gate. You must have a current insurance card specific to you and your bike and a rally wristband in order to enter the road. No bike swapping at the road.

Featured road seminars and rides

  • Maryhill Cornering Clinic (additional fee applies) - Always a favorite, this year's clinic will focus on downhill cornering where riders learn to apply throttle and braking control techniques. The session is limited to 20 riders. You must be registered for the rally to sign up for the clinic. CLICK HERE To register for the rally and clinic now.
  • Truitt Motorcycle Education presents Advanced Vision Concepts - The eyes are where it all begins when you're riding a motorcycle. If they're in the correct place, everything else can happen as it should, but when they're in the wrong place, that's when things go south. Spend some time learning proper eye placement in the classroom session, then take the ride that follows to practice what you learned on the road.
  • Dirt Bike Safety Training Dual Sport/ADV Skill Builder Session (additional fee applies) -

Bring your dual sport or adventure bike to improve your skills with the instructors of DirtFirst by MotoVentures and Dirt Bike Safety Training, LLC, or use one of their bikes.

DBST will start each clinic with a brief "riders meeting" followed by a number of Level 2 exercises that include: how to handle common terrain challenges, how to "clutch it" to control your speed and traction, how to position your body and maintain your balance at low speeds, how to execute tight turns while both sitting and standing (counterbalancing), how to handle extreme braking for those challenging down hill trails, how to change directions at speed to conquer hill climbs and sand washes, how to ride in ruts and on single track trails, and how to wheelie over small logs or obstacles.

$165 pre-register, $185 at the event +$100 to use a DBST supplied bike

CLICK HERE for more information and to register now. Space is limited and the Special Rally pricing will increase at the event. We look forward to seeing you there...

Additional Clinics, Seminars and Presentations

  • ProTech Sessions - Open ended sessions from industry pros that will loosely focus on a subject and go from there. Anything tech related to you and your bike goes. Bring your questions and learn insight from the pros and others attending. Grab a cup of coffee from the Fast Lane booth and join in, inside the Community Hall.
  • Introduction to the Rally in the Gorge - This slide show presentation will provide new attendees with details about the rally, and useful and historical information about the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area.
  • Suspension Clinic - Always a great way to start the rally. Dial your bike in for the good riding ahead with our suspension experts. Two sessions so you can get one in either way on Friday.
  • More seminars to be announced.

Onsite Food

  • Thursday Night Burger Feed - Last year's burger feed provided a great place for attendees to gather and chow down, getting to spend time with old friends and meet new ones as well on the front end of the rally. Well.. you asked for it, you got it again!
  • The Rally Kitchen & Cafe - Join us as per the schedule and refuel yourself in the on-site Rally Kitchen & Cafe. There are daily breakfast, and dinner options, lunch service on Wednesday when you arrive and always new specials each day. See schedule for hours of operation.

  • Fast Lane Coffee Service - Attention early risers, make your way over to the Fast Lane tent and grab a cup of complimentary Starbucks coffee every morning.

Come see us at the front desk inside Community Hall. Fun Run maps and tracks will be available on Saturday morning prior to the start of the fun runs.

You'll need to show your wristband for entry. Use our special paved back road route to get there. Tour starts at 11 sharp. Don't be late.
