On Saturday, April 20th 2002 between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Ride West
BMW, Moto International and Eastside MotoSports will be holding special events
at each of their respective stores. The emphasis - see what's new from the
European manufacturers.
Test Rides Galore
Have you been interested in checking out the new bikes
from BMW, Moto Guzzi, Ducati, Aprilia, and MZ. You'll be able to
see bikes from more than 10 manufacturers in all and test ride demo models where
available. And just what does available mean? Ride West always has a broad selection of
many of the latest models on hand available for test rides.
Moto International has worked it out to have a great selection of Moto Guzzi and Aprilia models
available and Eastside MotoSports will have a at least 7 Ducatis along with other bikes
available in their demo fleet. It's a good day to cop a feel!
Remember, to test ride you must have a valid Washington
State drivers license with a motorcycle endorsement and sign a waiver.
You'll also be interested to know each dealer will have
special financing options and a lot of current and non current inventory for
this event.

Win a $1,000 Gift Certificate
It's kinda like a poker run, but nobody remembers how to
play poker these days so the dealers made it simple. When you arrive at the
dealer tell them you're their for their special event and request a number. At
the end of the day turn in all of your numbers at the last dealer you go to and the total will be added
up. The person who gets the highest cumulative number will win $1,000
certificate, redeemable at one of the three dealers of your
choice.
The
person who gets the lowest cumulative total will win $100.
Final results will be tabulated the following Monday and
released Tuesday.
The possibility of a tie exists so if that happens may
good have mercy on the dealers souls and bank accounts!
Double Your Chances and Help Out Northwest Harvest
Get out your tank bag, throw on some luggage, or grab your knap sack. Put three
cans of non-perishable food into it before you leave home that morning. When you
stop into each dealer and present a can of food you will get two numbers, not
just one. The canned goods will be given to Northwest Harvest to help stock
their food bank.

See Some Cool Bikes and Check Out The Big Swap
Eastside MotoSports has promised to have a number of rare
Ducati's on hand for this event. While the store always has a few nice
gems on hand, they'll also be displaying bikes from local owners personal collections.
Ride West is running their annual bike swap on the same
day. If you've never checked it out it's really worth seeing. The parking lot is
filled with bikes of all kinds for sale. The inventory is split between private
owners and Ride West, but if you decide you want to buy one of the gems you'll
be making your purchase through Ride West and not have to deal with a private
party transaction. The Ride West Bike Swap is a two day event so if you can't
make it in on Saturday, they'll be open Sunday as well. If you have a bike you
would like to sell during this swap contact Ride West directly at 206-527-5511
or by email at ridewest@ridewest.com.
Eat
Ahhh Yes… No dealer open house promotion is complete
without some vittles. Ride West has once again asked Otis' BBQ to be on site,
Eastside MotoSports will have refreshments throughout the day.

While you're out having a good time, you can also pick up
your tickets for the Helge Pederesen Iceland Multimedia slideshow at the Seattle
Museum of History and Industry which is on Sunday April 28th at 2 pm the
following weekend. Both Moto International and Ride West will have tickets for
sale on
site.
