FAQ's

What’s the best setup for me to have on my bike during the rally?

Cross terrain tires such as a 80/20 or 90/10 composition are suggested since some of the riding involves highway speeds of over 50 mph.  60/40 knobbies and below are not the best choice.  All bikes must be street legal if operated on pavement and/or Forest Service roads.  The Skamania Fairgrounds, accessible by pavement, will be our rally and camping location so extensive off-road luggage systems can be stowed if desired as all rides will be day rides starting and ending at the same location.

What sort of off-pavement riding will be available?

We will provide suggested rides along unimproved forest roads which will include stretches of pavement.   For the more agile and daring we will also provide information onsite of single track trail systems you can ride while there.

Our group was thinking about meeting for our annual gathering at the rally. Can you accommodate our need to camp together?

We can and we do this for a number of groups each year. Please contact us via email with your specific request and be sure to include the number of people you plan to have onsite.

What about food - are you providing any meals?

We will be providing breakfast and dinner on Saturday.  The city of Stevenson has a large supermarket with a full service deli and there are plenty of restaurants in town, with more restaurants over the river in Cascade Locks and east in Bingen. Vegetarian options are available.  Please email us with your request.

I have a sleep apnea condition. Are there electrical outlets near the camping area?

Yes. There are more than a dozen outlets along the west side of the tent camping area and electrical outlets throughout the RV area.
