10/6/2012  Wenatchee to Chelan
This two day ride takes us to Lake Wenatchee and then to Lake Chelan Saturday. Sunday we ride back west across a totally different series of roads. The tourists are gone, but Chelan will no doubt be a beautiful place to overnight and you can choose between camping, a motel or hotel room in town. This is going to be great way for us to close out a year of great riding!

Please Note:

1) If you plan to ride with us, remember you must have a motorcycle endorsement to operate a two-wheeled vehicle over 49cc's in the state of Washington.  If you do not have this, visit your local Department of Licensing and we'll look forward to seeing you on an upcoming ride following such.  For information about the Motorcycle Safety Program click here.

2) Please wear protective motorcycle gear such as a leather or textile motorcycle jacket and pants with crash padding, over the ankle motorcycle boots, motorcycle gloves and a full face helmet. Anything less (Levis, Carharts, camping pants etc...) increases your risk of injury during a crash.  Although they are rare, always dress for the crash.

3) Arrive for the ride with a full tank of fuel.

4) A forecast of steady rain cancels the ride.

About our maps:

MapSource GPS files are provided for all one day rides at no charge. Routes will be downloaded to your Garmin unit when you arrive. They are not available in advance or after the ride is over. In other words come for the ride to get the day's route.

If you've enjoyed our rides in the past and want a lot of the maps we use, pick up a copy of Dual Sport Rides through Western Washington. A GPS companion CD is available as well.
