Remember - a forecast  of "Rain" (not showers) cancels the ride

Saturday   5/10/2008   Snoq to Sno Skirmish - Having breakfast in Snoqualmie and lunch in Snohomish isn’t such a bad idea. Especially when you pick a nice route to get there and we’ve got a dozy cooked up for this year. We’ve never used this exact route, but Tom has been pre-riding it all spring. There are some great views and stops as we scoot from Snoq to Sno. Chances are you’ll see some sights you’ve never seen and ride some new roads too. Breakfast is at 9, last rider out at 10.
Meeting Place: Mike's Cascade Grill @ 9am, 7727 Center Blvd, Snoqualmie, WA

Sunday   6/15/2008   Sunrise and Whistlin' Jacks - Mt. Rainier is a stunning work of nature. But have you seen it from Sunrise point? Today you will and you’ll be glad you did. We begin with a hearty breakfast in Black Diamond, make our assault on Mt. Tahoma (oh did I say that? - today it's called Mt. Rainier), lunch near the edge of a white water river and scream past Whistlin Jacks on our way home.

Sunday   7/13/2008   Leavenworth Blast! - Break out your lederhosen (but leave your accordion at home) and come celebrate summer. We’ll wind our way into the Cascades, grab a few side roads, lunch in the Bavarian village and snag a few more side roads on the way home for good measure. This is a 200 mile ride – so please bring your camera.

Looking for some great miles and lots of smiles? Don’t miss it. More details at www.soundrider.com/nwse/rally

Saturday/Sunday   9/13/2008   Mt Baker Two Dayer - There’s nothing like a trip up to the top of Mt. Baker in the mid-afternoon. After all the sun is illuminating the south slope, the road to get there is no less than orgasmic this time of year and it’s the last ride of the year so make it a good one - right? But why scurry back home after a day like this? Instead we’ll overnight together, have a good dinner and then enjoy an early Sunday departure down the historical Chuckanut drive while all of Bellingham is at church. In fact we may even turn the scoots around and repeat the stretch for good measure. The final ride south will be along many fun tertiary roads (would we do anything less than that?).

Group Riding Tips

Planning to ride with us?  Please be sure you understand the concepts of staggered formation and passing in a group.

Please Note:

1) If you plan to ride with us, remember you must have a motorcycle endorsement to operate a two-wheeled vehicle over 49cc's in the state of Washington.  If you do not have this, visit your local Department of Licensing and we'll look forward to seeing you on an upcoming ride following such.  For information about the Motorcycle Safety Program click here.

2) Please wear protective motorcycle gear such as a leather or textile motorcycle jacket and pants with crash padding, over the ankle motorcycle boots, motorcycle gloves and a full face helmet. Anything less increases your risk of injury during a crash.  Although they are rare, always dress for the crash.

3) Arrive for the ride with a full tank of fuel.
