Welcome to the official Sportbike Northwest website! Take a moment to join the SBNW mailing list at the above right so you get all the news as it happens.

Sportbike Northwest is a five day sportbike rally in the Columbia River Gorge held every summer.

The Skamania Fairgrounds in the town of Stevenson will once again host our event and we look forward to five days and four nights of too much fun.

The rally began in 2003 as a means to fill a void, overnight sportbike rallies of any magnitude are few and far between in the Northwest.  Read our About SBNW page for more details.

Sponsorship makes this event possible. Find out who our current sponsors are and contact us if you're interested in being a sponsor as well.

When you're out on your bike several days, it never hurts to get a few travel tips to better your experience.

2010 News

Make the Connection in 2010

Now in its 8th year, Sportbike Northwest is the West Coast's premier multi-day sportbike rally. Featuring top name speakers, informative clinics and seminars, hundreds of miles of great roads and like-minded camaraderie, Sportbike Northwest is where you come to bump your riding skills to a new level and have a great time doing it.

FEATURED PRESENTER:  LEE PARKS

The author of the Total Control riding skills book and subsequent Total Control riding skills curriculum, Lee Parks has earned wins in both AMA and WERA track series. He's a 25-year-veteran of the motorsports industry having been the editorial director at Motorcycle Consumer News, track racer and now the owner of the innovative Lee Parks Designs company out of Victorville, California. Lee will be presenting a number of informative clinics and seminars throughout Sportbike Northwest 2010. Don't miss him!

Other speakers at this year's rally include David Hough (Proficient Motorcycling), Ramey Stroud (Cascade Endurance Center) and Bret Tkacs (Puget Sound Safety Company).

NEW RIDES

The beauty of the Columbia River Gorge is enhanced by the fact that it boasts hundreds of miles of twisties. Because of this, our suggested rides change from year to year. It's not possible to ride all the great roads here in a single rally, so we mix it up year-to-year. All attendees get free ride maps complete with turn-by-turn directions and riding skills tips. Optional MapSource GPS files are available for download once you arrive.

SUSPENSION CLINIC RETURNS

Always popular, our hands-on suspension clinic will assist you in making the most of your riding time at the rally. Bret Tkacs of Puget Sound Safety, along with his staff, will guide you though the steps to make the most of your suspension in real time with your bike on hand.

This is just one of many informative sessions happening at Sportbike Northwest.

T SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

Want to win four free admissions to Sportbike Northwest 2010? We plan to have rally shirts on hand this year and we're looking for some innovative ideas for the design of the shirts. If we use your design, we'll slip you four free admissions along with four free t's. That's more than a $500 value! To submit your design, CLICK HERE for our design guidelines.

ROLLING CLINICS RETURN

It's one thing to take in a seminar in a classroom format, it's another to do it live on the road. Our unique rolling clinics, provided by some of the areas top instructors, guide you to your next level of riding skills by allowing you to practice what you learn and get feedback, if needed, where real world riding happens - on the road.
