HIGHLIGHTS

David Hough is in the House - On Sunday David Hough will present several riding skills clinics designed to sharpen up your riding and street survival skills. Don't miss em'. Hough is the author of the best selling Proficient Motorcycling series of books.

Manufacturer Demo Rides - Come ride the latest models from some of the top manufacturers.  Choose from more than a dozen models and experience them in an open road environment that you just can't get in the city.

Twisties, Dinner and a Star Show - Always a favorite this ride includes a twisty route to Goldendale where you can choose your own spot for dinner.  Riders then head up to the Observatory for a star show and a chance to glimpse the cosmos through the largest open-to-the-public telescope on the West Coast.

Catered Breakfast and Dinner on Saturday - Two of the top chefs in the Columbia River Gorge will tantalize your taste buds with great meals on Saturday before and after the Maryhill Loops run.  Vegetarian options are available too.

Ride Board - A posting board will be available for those who want to meet others for rides.  Here you'll be able to post your interest in putting together a ride along with the time and day you plan to do it so others can ride with you.  It's a great way to meet new acquaintances along the way.

STNW Forum - Use the Sport Touring Northwest forum (courtesy of PNWriders.com) to hook up with others coming to the rally and plan ahead.

Northwest/Motorcycle Trivia Game - Put a team together of up to six people and test your knowledge about motorcycles and about the Northwest. This fun game will no doubt be a nice ice breaker to kick the rally off with allowing you to play with old friends and meet new friends - or should we say - MINDS! 12 categories (6 motorcycle, 6 Northwest) of 5 questions each - may the best team win.

Nick Ienatsch is in the House - Road Racing champion and lead instructor for the Freddie Spencer High Performance Riding School, Nick Ienatsch will do a series of clinics and meet & greets throughout the weekend. Catch one or two while you're here.

Packing Light Packing Right Clinic - Learn the tricks the pros use to pack light, efficiently and compact for motorcycle touring.  We get into the nuts and bolts of the latest technologies that will make your ride experience a comfortable and practical one.

200 Mile Poker Run - Friday's 200 mile poker will make you dizzy with all the twists and turns you'll be enjoying along the route. Don't miss it!

Rump Roast 500 - Take a 500 mile ride Saturday through the Northwest in search of the perfect score.  Details will be released on Friday night.

More Clinics - We've got clinics all rally long designed to give you insight into performance riding skills, gps, suspension mods and road maintenance.

Silent Auction - You won't want to miss our Saturday evening program as we dole out the prize money from the Fridays poker run and give you a chance to bid on some great items in our silent auction and door prize event.  The silent auction funds our Gorge  Kids Explorer Fund in conjunction with the local parks and recreation team. CLICK HERE to visit our silent auction page.

Need Tires? - All Moto Tire will be taking advance tire orders on a pre-sale basis so they are ready for you when you arrive at the rally. You can order your tires and pay up front to have your tires mounted for free (off-bike) when you arrive. All Moto Tire will have a limited number of race stands for customers to remove and reinstall wheels. (A fee will be charged for All Moto wheel removal and installation). To guarantee delivery of your tires to the rally, go to the web site: www.allmototire.com or e-mail us at allmototire@comcast.net to request a quote. All Moto Tire will send an invoice which can be paid using PayPal or with a personal credit card. Paid orders must be received by August 7, 2008.

Sam Hill Adventure Hunt - On your way to the Maryhill Hill Loops Road on Saturday you can opt to take a route to designated locations and compete in this fun word game.  Is it a twisty route?  Oh yes.

Stompin Groundz on the Fairgrounds - With the event getting bigger and bigger each year we've been able to lure over one of the best little coffee carts in the Gorge.  Carson's Stompin Grounds will be on hand each morning to help you wake up with coffee drinks and breakfast snacks.
